Bethel Homes is a real estate team within Pearson Smith Realty that serves Northern Virginia and West Virginia. Through their "Buy One, Build One" program, the team makes a donation after every real estate transaction that goes to build homes for the homeless around the world.
How It Works
Nonprofit
Bethel Homes has a partnership with a nonprofit called Buy One, Build One. This 501C3 receives 10% of the commissions from every Northern Virginia real estate transaction we make, and sends those funds to build homes for the homeless.

Building in Bolivia
We prefer to focus on one community to build up at a time. Currently, we are having all of our funds sent to Cochabamba, Bolivia. Our partners there are working to build up the impoverished community. Upon receiving a new set of funds, these partners 1) choose an underserved family to build the home for, 2) purchase the material necessary to complete the project, and 3) hire local people without work who will be instructed and paid to build the home.

Involving You in the Process
Once the home project is complete, our partners in Bolivia send us an update with a picture of the home, the family who received it, and some of that family's story as well. Bethel Homes then has the pleasure to share those pictures and stories with our clients here in Northern Virginia.
